STABILITY AND REACTIVITY
This adhesive is stable and does not react with materials into which it would normally come into contact with during storage or use.
TOXICOLOGICAL INFORMATION
Assuming proper use no harmful effects have ensued.
ECOLOGICAL INFORMATION
This adhesive must not be allowed to reach water sources in an unclean state.
DISPOSAL CONSIDERATIONS
Dispose in sealed containers. Use an approved trade effluent contractor.
TRANSPORT INFORMATION
Transport under conditions that prevent the adhesive from being exposed to freezing or temperatures over 35°C.
HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION
This adhesive consists mainly of aqueous polymer.
The following health hazards have however been identified:
- Inhalation: No known hazard.
- Ingestion: This adhesive is not poisonous in the accepted sense but it should not be swallowed. If ingested seek medical advice.
- Skin Contact: The use of barrier creams and protective clothing are recommended, as repeated contact with sensitive skin can cause dermatitis.
- Eye Contact: This adhesive can cause eye irritation. The use of protective goggles to BS2092 is recommended if splashing is likely.
FIRST-AID MEASURES
When medical assistance is sort, explain the nature of the product involved.
Always ensure that these notes are available to medical personnel.
- Skin contact: Wash of adhesive before it dries. Dried product should be removed using skin cleansers.
- Eye contact: Rinse with plenty of clean water. If discomfort or redness persists consult a Doctor.
- Ingestion: Reassure the casualty. Encourage the drinking of water. Seek medical attention.
FIRE-FIGHTING MEASURES
This adhesive is nonflammable. No restriction on firefighting media, no special
instructions.
ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES
Spillages present little hazard, other than the risk of slippage.
Pump up large spillages. Smaller amounts can be absorbed in sand or sawdust for
approved landfill or incineration.
HANDLING AND STORAGE
This adhesive must be stored in sealed containers, preferably between 10°C – 25°C.
Do not allow to freeze. Use stock in rotation.
